Throughout the past three decades, it has been the Senate majority that has led the fight to improve the quality of life of all New Yorkers. The Senate Majority allows the Senate to passes legislation intended to support a business climate that stimulates job growth, creates an efficient government, makes our communities safe, provides a good education for our children, and creates more affordable health care. Programs such as:
- JOBS NOW allow New York to be more economically competitive with other states by targeting financial assistance to companies creating at least 300 new jobs.
- J2K and Gen-NY-sis build a strong high-tech environment within our state, and advance the growth of high-tech and biotech jobs by providing significant state investment for research and development.
- STAR property tax exemptions were created to increase the supply of affordable housing.
- Tax incentives, reductions and exemptions to promote corporate growth and job retention; encourage new construction and urban development; and stimulate the revitalization of lower Manhattan.
- Has authorized state funding for numerous redevelopment projects in New York City, including those at Penn Station and the New York Stock Exchange.

Why Should I Support the Senate Majority?
The NY Senate Republican Campaign Committee (NYSRCC) is the only committee that funds the Senate Campaigns. Every 2 years, each seat is up for election. In spite of Democratic enrollment advantages, the NY Senate Republican Campaign Committee has helped Republicans retain the Majority. This Committee ensures that the most important races have the resources needed to communicate with the voters. It is the sole source of revenue for every campaign activity of the Senate Majority.
It is important to provide financial support to the Senate Majority because, the Senate Majority has the power to move swiftly in promulgating laws that affect the entire State, including the Metropolitan New York area. The Senate Majority also impacts most local as well as statewide issues, such as the economy, education, health care, taxes, crime and transportation.
